Revenue share is paid out of eXp's 80/20 split — never from your sponsored agents' commissions.
50% of every Company Dollar goes into the revenue share pool. Written into eXp's public filings (NASDAQ:EXPI). When agents leave or retire and their unpaid rev share goes unclaimed, eXp doesn't pocket it — it gets redistributed back to the active downline as bonus payouts. No black box. No hidden math.
Each agent you personally bring to eXp becomes a Tier 1 in your downline. They keep 100% of their normal commission — your share comes from eXp's side.
Every transaction they close generates a payout to you, monthly, until that agent hits their annual cap. Resets each anniversary year.
When your agents sponsor agents, those become your Tier 2. And so on, down to Tier 7 — the deepest stack in the cloud-brokerage industry.
Tiers 1–3 are open the day you join. Deeper tiers unlock with FLQAs, capping, or ICON.
A Front-Line Qualifying Agent is an agent you personally sponsor who closes at least one deal every six months. If they don't, they're an FLA (Front-Line Agent) — they don't count toward unlocking deeper tiers.
The moment you cap, Tiers 4–5 open automatically for the rest of the year — no FLQA required. The moment you hit ICON, all 7 tiers open for the calendar year.

Realistic range: 40-70%. The capping agents are who actually pay out rev share to you.
As your downline grows, your Tier 1 agents start sponsoring agents themselves — those become your Tier 2, and so on. 2 is a conservative estimate.

You don't need to close a single deal to keep collecting. Other cloud brokerages require ongoing production to qualify. eXp doesn't.
